As a Voice Over artist he’s done several video games including KILLZONE 3, MURDERED: SOUL SUSPECT and BRIMSTONE-GRAND THEFT AUTO 5, as well as radio and TV spots. 

 

Theater: Otto Frank in ANNE, A New Play at The Museum of Tolerance, Peter Stockman in AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE with Interact Theater Company at UCLA. He created the role of Mike in the world premiere of BEAUTIFIED at the Skylight Theatre here in Los Angeles. He’s been in LA RONDE DU LUNCH also at the Skylight, TRUE WEST and SPEED THE PLOW at the Odyssey, SPLITSVILLE and THE NORMAL HEART at Interact Theatre Co.. In New York and regionally he’s worked at the Roundabout, Riverside Shakespeare Co., An Actor’s Space, Florida Stage Co., Williamstown Theatre Festival among others.

 

Directing:  Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins' NICE FISH with Interact Theatre Co. at the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles. Staged readings of Michael Cristofer's THE SHADOW BOX, Thornton Wilder's THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH and Tom Stoppard's ARCADIA with Interact at UCLA and the North Hollywood Library and John Goff's THE WAIT among others at The Road Theatre Company. He has also directed at The Skylight Theatre, The Court Theatre, The Falcon, The Hudson Guild, Triangle Opera in North Carolina, Yale, North Carolina Theatre, The Wilshire Theatre, Riverside Shakespeare, Williamstown Theatre Festival and others. He was a long-time member of the Circle Repertory Company Lab in N.Y. and a founding member of Interact Theatre Co. here in L.A. 

 

Teaching: Rob founded An Actor's Space and has been teaching and coaching there since 2011. He has also taught at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, The Circle Rep School of Theatre in N.Y., New York Film Academy and others. He’s been a guest director/instructor at Yale University for the Dramat and at USC and UCLA in their Graduate Playwrighting Programs. He created an Acting for Film and Television class for UNC in Chapel Hill. He also teaches for Casting Directors Alyson Horn and Ross Lacy at The Commercial Class and with Jolene Kay at The Commercials Gym.

 

He has been Director of Development for Palisades Pictures and a Director/Writer for the Walt Disney Co. 

And he has two remarkable children, Drew and Finney.
